MODELING CHINA'S DRY PORT COOPERATION IN SUPPLY CHAINS

چکیده
Currently, focus on dry ports in the People's Republic of China (PRC) is growing, and therefore, number country actively increasing. Due to multifunctionality ports, they meet modern requirements China's transport policy, which prioritizes improving quality providing transportation services by general access value-added high-quality services. The purpose PRC's system also facilitate movement freight flows within State's territory, due a faster modal shift, increased accessibility transport, development auxiliary functions, construction integrated hubs. Dry deal with mentioned tasks; however, increase PRC, issue optimizing interaction between has become urgent. this research scientifically substantiate need for strengthening technological cooperation ports. problem determining optimal structure was solved using method discreteevent simulation anyLogistix software tool. results assessment economic efficiency are presented. experiments model China’s port showed possibility increasing total profit participants supply chain 2.3 times their profitability 2.6 times, reducing cost container 1.3 fully meeting demand transportation. It been proven that chains provides enhanced opportunities processing cargo flows, as result redirection consignments from overloaded reserves capacity. A methodology proposed use tool strategic current planning chains.

Manufacturers are establishing smaller supplier network for enhanced cooperation, developmental efficiency and specialization. However, it limits manufacturing flexibility manifested by supplier capacity, disruptive events and customer attitudes. Methodology for modeling flexible assembler-suppliers relationships to manage supply chains in emerging markets is described. Supplier database, decis...
متن کاملDesigning cooperation mechanisms for supply chains
The paper defines generic requirements towards cooperative planning in the nucleus of any supply network that is constituted by a pair of autonomous manufacturer and supplier who possess asymmetric information on demand forecast and costs, respectively. Then a novel way is suggested for investigating this problem by means of the apparatus of mechanism design. The analysis results in some provab...
متن کاملA semantic-based framework for RFID-assisted port supply chains
Knowledge Representation techniques can be used to annotate relevant products information during their lifecycle without depending on a back-end infrastructure, so enabling novel added-value services. In this paper, a port supply chain management framework – based on EPCglobal RFID protocol enhancements– is presented allowing semantic-based descriptions to be associated to tagged objects and go...
متن کاملA typology of the situations of cooperation in supply chains
Pushed by globalization and its consequent increased competition, supply chain managers have understood the importance of information sharing, joint decision-making and cooperation across supply chains. Therefore, how to synchronize local activities through global processes and how to establish a collaborative supply chain relationship are actual difficulties that supply chain members have to a...
متن کاملTrust, Information Technology, and Cooperation in Supply Chains
Companies have moved away from vertical integration, in which a single company converts raw materials into products for end users, to an increasing reliance on supply chains. A typical U.S. company purchases 55% of the value of its products from other companies (Dyer & Singh, 1998). The promise of greater efficiency and the ability to adapt to increasingly volatile market dynamics have prompted...
